project made at FAUP
This project is placed in direct relation with a duck pond and a thicket. It develops itself from its entrance through the trees, and the terrace looking out to the southside and the lake. Of longitudinal nature, it presents a break halfway that, manifested as a skylight in the roof, illuminates the main bar, underneath which we’d find an overpass to transverse perpendicularly this volume, which would otherwise be an obstacle in the circulation of this area. On the terrace’s platform, we can sit and look out through a purposefully placed vertical slit that frames the happenings of the lake and reflects them on our cup of tea, or coffee.
